US Mission and envoy visited to Bangladesh Rohingya Refugee Camp

Ukhiya Cox’s Bazar: The US Mission and envoy visited to Kutupalong registered Rohingya Refugee camp in Bangladesh today at around 3:15 pm, to see the conditions of Rohingya Refugee in Bangladesh.
 
The Rohingya Refugee welcomed them and said that they are very thankful to USA goverment for its resettlement to Rohingya Refugee from Bangladesh. And during the visit, the Rohingya Refugee showed some banners, wherein they urged to UN, EU, UNHCR, OIC, US, UK,HRW, IC, ASIAN and other related Agencies to save Rohingya from Genocide, Assassination, Rape, Arson, Raid and Ethnic cleansing to Rohingya in Arakan Burma.
 
The Rohingya Refugee claimed that they are under inhuman violence in both country Burma and Bangladesh. They don’t want to be state sponsored violence targeting any longer. For what, The Rohingya Refugee strongly urged for an effective solution to the Rohingya long standing problems, because they are stateless, citizenshipless,defendless, friendless and the most persecuted and human rights violated people over this planet and they have nowhere to exile today . They strongly asked for a land where they can build up their lives with dignity and rights like other human being in the world.
 Besides, they asked earnestly to ensure their adequate basic needings like Education, Medication, Food and Non-food Items, Hygienic and Security according to the law of 1951 Convention and International Refugee standards inside the camp as well as to ensure long- term peace, and humanitarian aid for the Rohingya population. In addition, the Rohingya Refugee also claimed that they are always subjected to inhuman violence like harassment, arbitrary arrest, false edit to newspaper, fabricated law suits, raid, as well as sometimes to rape and killing.
 The Rohingya Refugee also urged for an opportunity of higher education because they are totally restricted to go to high school outside the camp for what hundreds of high school students have been pushed out from outside high school who are hardly admitted to various high school under Cox’s Bazar and they have no high school inside the camp.

They also urged to Bangladesh goverment to stop push back and give shelter to Rohingya who flew to escape their persecution and lives.

 
The Deputy Assistant Secretary for Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration Kelly Clements, and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labour Daniel Baer visited to various activities inside the camp and talked with Rohingya Refugee during the visit.

The US Ambassador Dan W Mozena in Dhaka is also accompanied the visiting team during their inspection at the Rohingya Refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar.

Besides, the respected Refugee Relief and Repatraition Commissioner (RRRC) Mr Sala Uddin, The country Representative of UNHCR Mr Caraig Sander, Camp in charge (CIC) Jalal Uddin, District Commissioner and other honoured persons were present during the visit to inside the camp. And at around 5:15 pm they left the camp.
