Jasola India: (The Stateless) Genius Rohingya Youth Club offered an excellent enjoyable match in a friendly match arranged by UNHCR/Bosco on 9th December 2014 at Jassola Sport Complex in India.
On last 9th December this year UNHCR/Bosco arranged some friendly football matches among the 13 refugees communities on the occasion of 16 days activism. Newly formed Genius Rohingya Youth Club was invited on the day.
The club offered an unexpected performance against comparably strong team Afgani refugees club Youngistan ( Afgani ) football club after the three previous matches results gone (5-1, 5-0, 4-0).
The match brought interesting 0-0 in the first half while both teams showed dozen of fail attempts.
The drama came in the second half while Genius Rohingya Youth Club got a goal and referee declared not goal and after Genius got a goal to enjoy the moment. But for the last time questionable penalty against the Genius match finished with 1-1 draw.
It was really pleased for fans and witnesses. Manager of Genius says
“To me, as a leader of this “Genius Rohingya Youth Club, “One time loss is nothing loss. We have shown our talent as our best. We are not weak. We have many more chances for victory.”
“Thank you Anand Kumar sir and UNHCR/Bosco”.
Thank you Youngistan and other Clubs. We are succeded by failure.
